- Workshop in Introduction to ARC GIS 10.4.1 – It was two days training workshop, covers introductory portions of ARC GIS, ARC GIS PRO and ARC GIS Online, organized under WaSo project, Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna in 2017.
- Workshop in Academic Writing Skills – It was 18-hour English language training programme conducted by British Council, Sri Lanka with the affiliation of the University of Jaffna in 2016.
- Seminar in paper setting and marking – It was conducted by Staff Development Center of the University of Jaffna under the schedule of University Grant Commission in 2016.
- Jaffna University International Research Conference – It was organized by the University of Jaffna under the theme of Towards a Greener Future. I served as person – in – charge of the session hall management committee in 2016.
- South Asian Urban Forum – It was an academic conference jointly organized by Department of Town and Country Planning, Institute of Town Planners Sri Lanka, National Physical Planning Department, National Building Research Organization, LA TROBE University and Urban Development Authority. I presented a research paper on, Between the Traditional Local Township and a Modern Global City: Redevelopment of Postwar Urban Space in 2015.
- Researchers Forum at the University of Moratuwa – It was conducted by the Department of Town and Country Planning, Faculty of Architecture, University of Moratuwa in 2015.
- Workshop in Curriculum Development – It was conducted under IDAS project with the support of Staff Development Center of the University of Jaffna in 2015.
- Staff Development Programme – It was conducted by Staff Development Center of the University of Jaffna under the schedule of University Grant Commission in 2013.
- Jaffna University International Research Conference – It was organized by the University of Jaffna under the theme of Capacity Development in a Post-war Context in 2012.
- Workshop on Pathway to Knowledge in 2011- It is a knowledge sharing workshop organized by Friedrich Ebert Stifung in Public Library Auditorium, Jaffna.

- Participated as one of the Youth representatives of Sri Lanka in the ECOSOC Youth Forum which was held on 30th – 31st January, 2018 in New York, United States of America.
- Participated as activist to share my experience on the theme of “Sharing volunteer experience from global to local” in Youth4Peace Central Province Symposium organized by UNV held on 20th –
24th April 2018 in Kandy. - Participated as activist to share my experience on the theme of “Sharing volunteer experience from global to local” in Youth4Peace Northern Province Symposium organized by UNV held on 07th – 11th April 2018 in Kilinochchi.
- Participated as activist to share my experience on the theme of “Sharing volunteer experience from global to local” in Youth4Peace Eastern Province Symposium organized by UNV held on 16th – 20th March 2018 in Baticaloa.
- Facilitated as main resource person and panelist member, community development presentations by Young Leaders in the Youth4Youth Eastern Province Symposium organized by UNFPA under the theme of “Youth Building Peace” held on 18th – 21st February 2018 in Baticaloa.
- Facilitated as main resource person and panelist member, community development presentations by Young Leaders in the Youth4Youth Northern Province Symposium organized by UNFPA under the theme of “Youth Building Peace” held on 27th – 30th November 2017 in Anurathapura.
- Facilitated as one of the resource person in the Interactive Session for young leaders organized by UNFPA under the theme of Youth Building Peace commemorated with the launch of the UN Peace Building Fund for Youth by UNFPA Country Representative in Jaffna in 2017. (IYD 2017)
- Facilitated and delivered a talk as one of the youth representatives from the North in the “Meet the UN Session at the University of Jaffna” held in 2017 under the theme of „Youth Building Peace‟. (IYD 2017).
- Stakeholder Consultation Programme on Engaging and Development of Northern Provincial Youth. It was focused on include youths on the process of policy making for them, especially in developing a policy for youth of Northern Province. It was jointly organized by Ministry of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports and Youth Affairs of Northern Province and United Nation Fund for Population Affairs (UNFPA) in 2016.
- Seminar in Regional Multi – Stakeholder Consultative Session in Jaffna on Operationalizing the National Volunteering Secretariat – It was jointly organized by Ministry of Social Service (MOSS) and United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) in 2014.
- Career Guidance and Youth Development Programme in Colombo, Jaffna, Kilinochchi and Mullaithivu – It was highly focused on creating the career opportunities to the youths who are affected by war and empowers them towards a career vision. I served as a representative from TFT to coordinate the programme in the Northern provincial level in 2012.
- Awareness Raising through Practical Means for the Protection, Conservation and Management of the Sinharaja Rain Forest UNESCO World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka – It was organized by Weeramantry International Centre for Peace Education and Research in collaboration with the Training For Trusteeship Programme Sri Lanka with the support of the Asia Youth Fund 2011 of the Korean National Commission for UNESCO, Earth Charter Initiative, World Future Council and RIO+20 for four days in 2012.
- IYV + 10 National Conferences – It focused on promoting voluntarism and creating wider network between volunteers in all of Sri Lanka. It introduced V awards to honor a best volunteer in every single year as well. I served as a member of provincial coordinating committee of Northern Province.
- Training For Trusteeship – It was organized and conducted by Weeramantry International Centre for Peace Education and Research under the theme of Water – Spring of Life (Art of Water) for five days in Anurathapura. It focused on Water quality management, Waste water management techniques, Irrigation development, Water supply, and Contemporary water issues in Sri Lanka and Competition in Proposing Project towards water management in Sri Lanka. The workshop is fully supported and accredited by International Water Management Institute (IWMI), Earth Charter Initiative, The right livelihood award and UNESCO. It was fully funded by Department of State, United States of America. I delivered a lecture on project planning and management in 2012.
- Training For Trusteeship in 2010 – It was organized and conducted by Weeramantry International Centre for Peace Education and Research under the theme of Harnessing Youth Idealism for Social Advancement for five days in Kurunagalle. It covers wider range of knowledge sharing, skills identification and development and attitude change processes through the techniques and methods of capacity building, empowerment and mobilization in diverse groups. The workshop is fully supported UNESCO and American Center, Department of State, United States of America.
- Workshop on nonviolence from Chaos to Community: An Introduction to Kingian Nonviolence byRealizing the Dream – It was conducted by American Centre in 2010.
- Unleashing the People‟s Potential: What should to accelerated Economic Growth – It was conducted by working group of people in economic sector in 2009.
- Awareness creation programme on Conflict Negotiation Skills – It was organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports with the collaboration of the UNESCO for Asia and the Pacific in 2003.
- Cadet Camp of St. John Ambulance – I selected and performed as a leader of Northern Provincial Cadet Team and we won the first place for the overall performances. It was conducted by International St. Johan Ambulance, Sri Lanka in 2001.
Social Engagement
- Involving, as a board of director of the Northern Co-operative Development Bank that was established under the Northern Provincial Council, in the process of strengthen the co-operative sector to establish sustainable economic model from the grassroots level through the co-operative investment in the Northern Sri Lanka since 2023.
- Involving, as a secretary of the Co-operative Hospital, Tellippalai that was established in 1947 to extend the health service in a very minimal cost that is affordable by all the people who are below the poverty margin in the Jaffna district, in the health improvement schemes. Especially in the subfertility treatment that is not affordable by the ordinary person, who are struggling to manage their day to day life due to the inadequate income, in the competitive market though it is a fundamental need of a family.
- Conducting Youth Employment and Health Improvement programmes for the marginalized communities who have been resettled after 30 years of displacement due to prolong war in the Northern Sri Lanka since 2017.
- Facilitating the resettled communities to strategically develop their spatial and social improvement plan through conducting Participatory Rural Appraisal sessions since 2021.
- Conducting Student Leadership Programmes to the students who are studying at grade Nine, Ten and Eleven (Under 16 age group) in the government schools in the Northern Sri Lanka with the support of the Education Department since 2019.
- Conducting awareness programmes to the students who are studying at grade Nine, Ten and Eleven (Under 16 age group) in the government schools in the Northern Sri Lanka and their parents to protect the students from the drug addiction, sexual harassments and family violence with the support of the Education Department since 2023.
- Conducting awareness programmes to the students who are studying at primary level (Under 06 age group) in the government schools in the Northern Sri Lanka to protect them from the drug addiction, sexual harassments and family violence with the support of the Education Department since 2022.
- Carrying SEED BALL throwing programme in the inland lagoon areas in the Northern Sri Lanka since 2005. 1870 seed balls are throw in the inland lagoons of the Jaffna Town area so far.
- Training the Undergraduate students of the University of Jaffna, as an authorized trained, under the Active Citizen Programme developed by the British Council from 2020.
- Proposed infrastructure development plan for the fishing harbor in the Punduduthivu island to enhance the economic benefit of the fishing community without harming the coastal ecosystem in 2022.
- Proposed community development plan for the communities who have been resettled after 30 years of displacement due to prolong war in the Northern Sri Lanka in 2022.
