data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tGeography was one of the disciplines introduced since the establishment of the University of Jaffna in the mid 1970s. The Department of Geography has always been a vibrant centre for undergraduate teaching and research and has attached highly motivated students. At present, the Department of Geography offers undergraduate degrees in two disciplines namely Geography and Community and Regional Planning and promotes theoretical and applied realms in both degree programs.
