A Framework of Approaching Student\u2019s Needs<\/strong><\/p>\n

Capitalizing Social Resources is a conceptual framework of approaching student\u2019s needs that the department of geography has initiated this framework to ensure inclusive and equitable quality of education of our students. With the result of the recent interviews of the students of our department, we found that many students have been experiencing high cost of living that hinder their concentration on the studies. Hence the department took its all efforts collectively with our department alumni and stakeholders to find available resources in the society to meet the challenges of our students. As a part of this effort, the department has sought free accommodation facilities for 08 students at the starting level. A Urumpirai based Sri Lankan-Australian family (Mr. V.\u00a0 Kandasamy and Mrs. K. Southamany) has come forward and offered these facilities with the following:<\/p>\n
